Erik Hammer

Erik is a Managing Director with a team in our warehousing & distribution practice at Global Executive Solutions Group. Focused on acquisition of top talent in a variety of functional areas at the C-Level, VP, Director & Manager levels. Works with third party logistics, retail or manufacturing companies. Warehousing operations processes include raw material, in-process & finished goods inventory deployment, inbound & outbound transportation, customer order processing, packaging & material handlings, kitting, sub-assembly, sequencing, transportation management (TMS), & warehousing management systems (WMS).

Prior to becoming a Practice Leader, Erik spent 3 years as a Search Consultant at Global Executive Solutions Group working in Transportation Management, Freight Brokerage, Manufacturing, and Operations. He is focused on understanding his client’s needs and his top talent’s career objectives. Erik has an innate ability to build lasting relationships that provide satisfaction for both the clients served and individuals recruited. He attributes his success to his skills in communication, leadership, and his competitive nature to be the best and provide the best.

Eric is a graduate of Seton Hill University with a BA in Marketing & Business Administration. Student Athlete as Captain of nationally ranked Lacrosse team. Academic All-American & Second Team All G-MAC Selection. He has always been described by those who know him best as a grinder, working harder, longer, and doing whatever it takes to accomplish an objective. Tends to put in much more time and effort in projects than most others. Enjoys fitness (lifting and working out), running, culinary arts, music, and time with his friends.
